Our Role Reporting into the Collections Team Leader the primary purpose of this 12 Month Fixed Term Contract role is to assume responsibility for managing an arrears portfolio together with assisting with managing inbound calls, emails. This role is responsible for managing an arrears portfolio, as well as assisting with managing inbound calls, emails, etc. together with the following duties including but not limited to Complete daily activities, inclusive of telephone contact, repayment arrangements, and recommendations to issue accounts to mercantile agents. Manage accounts in an efficient manner preventing the account increasing in delinquency. Work as part of a team ensuring call and email queues are handled efficiently and answered within expectation. Identify customers in financial hardship and provide necessary documentation for completion. Display good communication and negotiation skills, selecting language, tone and format to suit target audience. Ability to build rapport with customers. Offer tailored solutions to remedy problems with accounts The successful candidate will have Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to liaise with dealers, sales professionals, internal and external parties Minimum Two (2) years experience working in a similar environment including a demonstrated ability to identify and deveop alternative solutions to problems evaluate courses of action and to reach logical conclusions.
